Cold-erful Colorado

So we moved a few months ago--from Texas to Utah. We left dear friends in TX whom we miss very much and have enjoyed all of our time with family and friends here in UT. But on the way northwest, we stopped off in Colorado and spent a few days with friends and family in the best and most beautiful state in the nation (I wouldn't say it if it weren't true).

First off, we wanted to share a few cute photos of the boys with our TX neighbors--Glen and Jeannie. They were great neighbors and the boys loved them much. They were patient with our constant remodeling and semi-messy yard. They were great surrogate grandparents for our growing boys. We stopped in to see our other neighbors (Barry and Linda) but didn't get a chance to take any pictures with them. And then one last picture in front of our beautiful first home.

We spent some time in Colorado Springs at my first teaching school--Remington Elementary. It was great to see some of my old teaching buddies. We spent a fun-filled evening with our favorite C Springs family--the Osgards. The next day, we spent some great moments running around dAddie's alma mater--USAFA. The best part was when Brigham loudly and repeatedly yelled, "Dance, monkey, dance" to all of the cadets walking below.

Then we made our way to Denver to see friends and family all around the Mile High City. We had dinner with my cousins and their families. We spent some fun times eating and chatting with Robin/Brad/Micah and Nicole/Rocky. The highlight for Adam and Brigham was their daddy date to Loveland Ski Resort for Brigham's first day of Rocky Mountain skiing. Word on the street is that Brig was rockin his way down the slopes by the end of the day.
Thumbs up, Colorado. Thanks for the fun!!!
