Richard Johnson

Here is the transcript from a recent phone conversation I had with my friend Brock who lives out on the east coast:

A: Hey Brock.
B: Hey Adam.
A: So I'm out in Albuquerque for a little while on a TDY.
B: That's cool.
A: Hey, I want to tell you a story but do you wanna try an experiment first?
B: Um Ok.
A: You're getting very sleepie...very sleepie...you are about to close your eyes and enter the subconsciense world of hypnosis. Feel the watch tick tock tick tock...back and forth...back and forth...back and forth. The water rushes over the rocks and the swing blows in the park. You are relaxed and at ease. You can feel the lush blue grass under you feet as you walk. Remember now back to when you were a student. You roamed the campus at BYU. Think back...and now I want you to walk across the campus brushing shoulders with young beautiful people. Make fun of the nerds at the engineering building as you continue on your path. Traverse the Wilkinson Center and descend the hill. Now you are across the street and walking up the parking lot to the ROTC building. You can see the large two story light brown brick structure in front of you. Now I want you to walk up the stairs and notice the painted rock as you stroll through the front doors. I want you to go straight up the stairs now past the picture of General Moroni standing triumphantly and then I want you to look around at this familiar place. Now Brock, notice the people. Look at the people and see their faces. All the faces of those cadets you knew so well. Can you see their faces Brock?
B: Yes, I can see them.
A: Good now I want you to look at those people and then I want you to remember all of those people's wives. Yes their wives and I want you to remember which one you hit on while they were already married.
B: Oh man that's funny. I had totally forgotten about Richard Johnson and his wife.
A: RICHARD JOHNSON?!!! Who's this RICHARD JOHNSON?!!!
I was talking about John Sanderson... YOU HIT ON TWO DUDES WIVES?!!!

Turns out one of Brock's frenemies from BYU is in my safety school class here in the Turque. Kind of funny.
