So yesterday was a very big day for me as a Dad. I am half way around the world, as you all know, so my parenting comes in hour long Skype sessions over the internet. It's pretty fun and I enjoy being with my family like this, it's a technological wonder. Better than a kick in the pants anyhow.

Yesterday Brig brings a book up to his mother and reads rather slowly and phonetically, "Jane asked Sally if she wanted to come and play."

I've never been so proud. He is still 3 for another two months and I think my boy is a genius--a reading genius.
