More Funny Stories

I have a couple of funny boy stories.

First Brig: Brig will frequently arrange magnetic letters on the fridge in some ridiculously long and odd combination and then turn to us saying, "Look it says 'Brigham Bradbury!'" Yesterday he arranged the letters again but lacking a B at the beginning and a Y at the end he instead turned and said, "Look! I spelled some other kids name!"

Calvin: Michelle takes Callie Mack to the YMCA the other day and drops him off at the Playgroup area while she works out. When she finishes getting her pump on, the mother politely asks the babysitter, "so how were they?" To which the slightly exasperated Miss Susie replied, "Gosh Mackay was just so much louder today than usual. He just kept talking...and loud!" Turns out that unlike every other time she had dropped him off Michelle had forgotten to leave Mack with his pacifier.

This loud incident was repeated today in Sacrament meeting when we realized that we'd forgotten to pack a pacifier in the diaper bag.

B: "I'm Woody the cowboy. Howdy! Howdy!! Howdy!!!"

Today we had cake and ice cream for Dad's birthday since he won't be here on the actual day. Brig got on the phone with Grandma Susie and was so excited to tell everyone about dad's cake he helped make, that he sang 'Happy Birthday" to dad while on the phone with Grandma. It was the greatest 3-years old rendition of Happy Birthday you have ever heard including bits, pieces and snippets from no less that 4 different versions of the Happy Birthday song; including the normal one, the primary one, the school one and the portuguese version. And the best part is he ended it by holding out the last note for 8 counts - on key the whole time-ish.

Toddlerhood will not kill us but it will maim and degrade our defenses considerably.
