addie,I wish you would call me, or get back online to accept a file of pictures I am trying to send to you. I hope you can get them soon--from Liberty Park last night when we met up with your mom and KK/PK.I am glad you got to talk to Kellie. We just chatted for a while and now I am dog tired. I am going to go to bed soon. I just wanted to tell you a couple of funny Brig things.1--His coping mechanism right now is acting tired. When I tell him no or give him choices he does not like, he will go grab his blanket, lay down, and say, "I so tired. I go to sleep." Funny how he wakes up really fast when he wants to. It is total drama but pretty funny.2--I took the boys for a walk today and both fell asleep on the walk. I transported Calvin to his crib easily but Brig woke up when I took him out of the stroller--next time I will leave him but I didn't really know what to do. I was grumpy with him about how he needed to take a nap and he said, "I take a nap my whole life." But the way he said the last part was with great exasperation and sighing... "my whole life." Drama.3--He has become a water dog and spent the whole day outside squirting people with the hose and laughing hysterically about it--must be genetic.4--Calvin Mackay Moo has started giving the funniest and best dirty scowly looks. If he does not want someone talking to him or looking at him, he will scowl and you will cower, either that or smile until he finally caves and smiles and laughs about how funny he is--total drama as well.Funny boys. I hope you like the pixs. I have not edited them yet. I love you tons.chelle
And this part of a note from the Mother of The Mother:
Dearest Adam,
Just a quick note to tell you your own wonderful little family was delivered yesterday to your mom and KK, Paul and Ava. We spent a little time with them in Liberty Park watching the kids go nutZ, then we drove home to IP arriving here about 1 am. I know that the next sign up the road would have said "The end of the earth" with an arrow pointing right!
I had the most amazing time with Brig, Mackay and 'Chel yesterday in the plane. When I flew with them at New Years Brig was terrified of 'flying' and we kept the window closed all the time. Yesterday we put him in the window seat and he could not get enough of looking out the window. He kept a running commentary of what was happening. He said such things as "We are going backwards", "We are moving fast", "The ground is going down!!" (Wow!) as we lifted off. He 'felt' the thrust of the engines. He eyes were just 'sparkling' and he had the biggest grin on his face! He commented about the cars and trucks on the roads, the houses, the swimming pools, rivers, lakes, etc. Of course he was being 'coached' about the objects by his mommy, but he made really great connections. My very favorite of all was his observations about clouds. He kept saying that we were going to 'land on a cloud', then he would say "Oh..." with dissappointment in his voice as we flew through or by it. We came into SLC from the south and he could see the "Y" on the mount in Provo and knew what it was!! "Look, mommy, the "Y"...BYU! BYU!" He is just SO SMART! and really liked the flying bit! Must take after his dad and g-grandpas!
On the other hand, Mackay slept most of the trip and then let out a number of blood curdling screams that had the man in front of us holding his ears! Oh well... After Gene met us and I picked up the car we found a Wendy's for some chicken nuggets and 'prosties'. Too much fun!
Hope you are being safe! Please know that we are praying for you constanty! I know that 'Chel and the boys will have a super time with your family. We can hardly wait to have them join us here in a couple of weeks. This morning I have put on a polar fleece jacket. Gene said that it was 44* when he got up. How different from Abilene, let alone the sand box! Thanks for sharing your amazing family with us!
love, gene and connie
