After chasing a pair of Turkeys around trees, through flower beds and around his mother for about three minutes the turkeys jumped a fence to get away. Brig ran up to the fence and rather put out that they had evaded him hollered out, "Bye bye guys, I love you." (He said the last part with a scowl.)
At the bridge for the Giraffes, where the boys were squatted down feeding them crackers as fast as they could put them through the fence -
Brig: "Giraffe says, 'Ummm, tasty!'"
Calvin: "Grrrrrrr!"
To the sleeping Tiger -
Brig: "Go play with your ball"
Calvin: "GRRrrr!"
Making an astute observation at the buffalo pen -
Brig: "You knock down the tree, buffalo!" (It was infact a stump they had brought in for decoration but an astute observation none the less.)
Calvin: "grrrRRR!"
In the snake house bgb drug his mother over to the Brazilian python and tapped on the glass a time or two.
Mom: "The snake is looking at Mommy. It says, 'hi chelle!'"
Briggie, "The snake look at Briggie?"
Mom, "The snake is looking at you. The snake says,'Hi briggie, hi chelle!'"
Briggie, "Hey Snake!... We are a family."
Calvin, "grrrnt" (this was a little more quiet because I don't think he liked the snakes as much.
While passing the giraffes again later we saw one sticking his long neck over the fence to get a shot at the green leaves on the other side.
Brig: "Giraffe, can you see the Buffalo? ... Ok bye."
Calvin: "I already grunted at you."
And on our way out past the Alligator swamp,
Briggie, "Bye Bye Alligator. I love you. Don't bite Briggie."
Calvin: "Zzzzzzz...zzzzzzz."

Hands down- Zoo over movie! Sorry Brock missed Adam again...honestly, ya'll should just come visit while you can!
I always loved going to that great zoo. The giraffes were the best. And the lions. Cute, cute quotes from your boys. Love the pictures at the church, good to see the church again and some Abilene people too! Fun!
