Guten Tag Neighbor

Dear Pearcedog,

Whatup homeboy? How are you doing?

I sure have missed having you around since you moved away. How’s Germany? How’s your dad and mom? Is she still mad at my dad for not being nice playing Settlers of Catan? My mom sure chewed him out after that whole thing. Is your dad flying yet? Have you met any cool German movie stars? I forget, there aren’t really any. What’s it like over there? I’m a little short on world traveling experience right now being that I’ve never gone any further than Memphis.

How was your plane ride? I’ve never been in an airplane before but as you may recall my crib is decked out with little prop jobs. Speaking of my crib. I’ve been learning how to go to sleep. Tonight I cried for an hour straight. Dad and Mom took turns coming in every five minutes and calming me but it was a pretty painful hour nonetheless. I’m making them earn their pay. Maybe someday I can figure this out and be a big boy like you and just put myself to sleep. I’m working on it, if you’ve got any words of advice, I’m all ears.

You’ll have to tell me how it is to go cruising down the Autobahn as fast as your little heart desires. I always try to get mom to set my swing on turbo fast but she doesn’t think I’m ready. But I’m ready. Man, am I ready. You’ll have to send me some sweet pictures or something when you guys get settled down in Little America, Keiserslauten or where ever it is you finally hunker down in.

My mom says to say hi and my dad misses seeing you light up when he pops in over at your house. Our new neighbors are considering a restraining order because my dad is so comfortable over there and they don’t even know who he is. (though he is obviously handsome.) My parents are all mushy and hoping that they get to see you again someday soon. Also my Dad says that if you want a piece of advice, (he always has what he calls advice and I call conspiracy theories) he says that you should know what to do in the event of a total loss of SKE in a turn because if you don’t and then get stood up in the formal brief, many IPs remember your name and make your life difficult. Ya, I listen to his advice like he listens to his old mans.

Here’s hoping the sauerkraut is fresh and the pancakasas’ plentiful. I’ll be seeing you around big buddy, call again soon.

Good as,

Golden

Yo and for all my peeps out there that don't know, Pearce is my good friend that I've known my whole life. His daddy and mommy just got moved to Germany for the next four years or so while Brock is flying the mighty Hercules. Pearce fit in the carry on bag so they decided to take him, there wasn't even any room left over for me. So I'm heading to Abilene.
